BI Report Type |
The option selected for Dashboard or Report depends on your BI report. A Power BI report can contain multiple tabs but work with only one dataset. Reports allow you to filter data in multiple ways. A Power BI dashboard is a single page, often called a canvas, that tells a story through visualizations. Dashboards are a feature of the Power BI service only and pull data from one or more reports and/or datasets per dashboard.
